Almost no one is aware of the fact that before finally becoming Queen Zelda I and building the New Kingdom, she’s been for decades know (and feared) as Pirate Queen Tetra.
Couldn’t decide if I like her more with or without her captn’s coat.
I’m still convinced that Skyward Sword is not a prequel explaining everything, but a sequel to a post-apocalyptic crisis that will lead to the creation of a NEW Hyrule.

I mean, the Lanayru region was once a lake, then turns into a desert, then turns into a lake again? It could be that Lake Hylia just dried up the ONE time after everything else. There is one lone goron instead of the vast race of proud people we once knew. The Master Sword eventually GAINED consciousness instead of falling asleep forever. Demise is a remnant of Ganon’s evil and hatred instead of the other way around.
Still haven’t worked out how Hylia would operate in that scenario.
But again, it’s a fun interpretation. ^^
